Sunday Trivia: Who’s old?

There are few airlines in the world that have been operating for nearly the past century but they exist.

Who is the oldest continuously operating airline the world?

Who is the oldest. . . period?

The answers after the fold:

QANTAS is the oldest continuously operating airline in the world.  Founded November 16, 1920 as Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Services (QANTAS), it exists today as an operating entity.  (But one has to doubt its current leadership right now.)

KLM is the oldest airline in the world since it was founded October 7, 1919 but it ceased operations during World War II.

Chalks Ocean Airways was actually oldest until 2007 when it folded operations.
